month nine (continued) Feb-2009
03-Feb-2009
Disposing of fallen leaves — the Hannah way.
(No, she didn't eat it.)
|
Our health insurance provider has a bonus program which offers rewards for participation in checkup examinations and vaccination campaigns. Today, Hannah got her present for her complete participation in 2008. She was really excited and watched anxiously as daddy assembled her bike. (And would have loved to play with the piles of plastic wrapping it came with.) Even though she's growing so fast, it'll still be quite some time until she can ride it.
Like Christmas in February…
|
…but she still has to grow quite a bit for that one.

Today, in two servings, Hannah ate an entire glass (220g) of baby food Spaghetti Bolognese. Fortunately, after her illness, she has completely regained her appetite.

Anything that can be clasped, grasped, tipped over or demolished strongly motivates Hannah to move towards it. Though daddy has become an expert builder of towers made from wooden blocks or plastic cups, Hannah usually destroys the building before it's fully erected.
I'll demolish that tower in a second!

She now often assumes the correct position for crawling…
|
…and can lean against the sofa without support.
(But with watching eyes and helpful hands nearby.)
|
Evening ritual: reading watching books.
|
Hannah loves these finger games!
