month 13 - Kirchheim am Ries 03..05-Jun-2009

As a short vacation, we spent three days at the Gästehaus Oßwald in Kirchheim am Ries, an idyllic rural village.

First time on a farm! Hannah is fascinated…

…by the two dogs that walk around the yard.

After being so close to the dogs…

…Hannah shrieks with joy whenever she sees one!

Hannah explores the farm…

…and enjoys the sunny (but windy) weather.

After a hearty meal…

…we watch the other animals in the barn:

rabbits, calves, bulls, ponies, horses; Hannah loves them all!

We also walk around the village, meeting Yuko's old acquaintances…

…then spend the late afternoon at the beautiful inn.
Hannah is exploring and investigating everything…

…and is visibly happy!

Impeccable breakfast next morning…

…but Hannah still skips cheese and sausage and prefers plain rolls all day long.

Way too soon, we have to depart…

…and take the 3-hour train ride back home.

A big thank-you to Karin, Manfred and the entire Oßwald family for the warm reception and wonderful stay! Hannah still shrieks with joy when she sees a dog or cat; she probably still remembers all the impressive animals at your farm.
