It's so hot, we're splashing in the water.
The sun is scorching; Hannah regularly waters her sunflower.
Hannah is already behaving like an unruly teenager, for example protesting loudly, then crying when she should wash her face in the morning. After calming down, she later excused her behavior with
I think I wasn't yet fully awake. At night, she sleeps in her parents' bedroom; we've moved her mattress to the end of our bed.
We went to the playground in the woods; it's colder there.

This weekend, we visited a fair featuring Japanese handicrafts in Strasbourg, France. We took a slow train through the Black Forest, and had our hotel right in front of the busy central station.
There's much to see on the fair.
We're having real Japanese sweets made of anko and green tea.
It took us a while to find it, but we finally found a playground and small zoo.
Hannah is imitating one of the various birds on display: a flamingo.
